In this workshop body awareness and myofascial release techniques (aka self-massage) will be practiced. You will learn how to use various props and self massage techniques to reduce adhesions and increase functional range of movement.
The human fascial system is made up of fibrous connective tissue that supports and protects muscles, organs, and other structures of the body. Due to activities of daily living, the fascia can develop adhesions which can lead to chronic pain, tension, and inefficient movement patterns.
All levels are welcome, no experience is necessary.
