Perform a total of 108 rounds of Suryanamaskar A within the context of Metta (lovingkindness) meditation practice.
We break the 108 salutations into sets of 20, invoking a specific meditative focus for each set, and offering the opportunity for personal intention setting and affirmations with each of the last 8 salutations. The practice usually takes around 90 minutes, with some additional time at the beginning and end for meditation and relaxation. It is a strong physical practice, and you are welcome to rest any time you need to (there is no requirement to complete all 108 salutations in order to take part) but you might surprise yourself with what you can accomplish!
