Rest, restore and refresh! Yoga Nidra or ‘Yoga sleep’ is a deeply relaxing and nourishing form of guided meditation. You’ll get as comfortable as you possibly can on your mat, and your instructor will lead you through a 45-minute practice where you bring your attention to and then completely relax every part of your body in sequence. Research has shown that this form of guided meditation is more restful than deep sleep, and is a perfect way to take care of yourself in the Holiday season.
This special offering is a Karma Yoga practice – the Yoga of service and action. There is no charge to attend, but we will gratefully accept donations to support the Urban Lotus Project. Urban Lotus Project is a local non-profit organization that brings Yoga and Meditation to under-served and incarcerated youth in the greater Reno area.
