Ashtanga Inspired Vinyasa

Using the wisdom of Ashtanga Yoga sequencing principles to promote safe and natural development of your body’s flexibility, endurance and strength, you will explore a fun, creative and challenging mixture of poses.
11:30 – 5:00pm

Ashtanga Primary Series Training

In this training we will progress through the sun salutations and the primary series sequence of poses, learning how to verbally cue and adjust/modify all of the poses. We will explore drishti, breath and bandhas as they relate to each posture.

Yoga Basics - Community Class

An introduction to the fundamentals of yoga, including breathing techniques and safe postural alignment. This class will open the door for anyone interested in reaping the benefits of healthy mind, body and spirit.

Yin Yoga

Work the connective tissues of our ligaments, joints and deep fascial networks in this meditative practice focused on deep stretching, breathing and relaxation. Yin postures are held for an extended time allowing for deep stretches that are soft, rather than muscle driven.

Yoga Therapeutics & Self Massage

This class is for those seeking injury prevention or are currently working on healing an injury. We will breathe deeply and move functionally while applying mindful movement techniques for the entire class. This format of movement is geared not only torwards increasing strength and flexibilibty, but also reshaping default patterns of movement that can lead to or contribute to an injury or chronic pain.

Props will be utlizied to release muscular tension and other imbalances in the tissues of the body (props include yoga balls, roller, blocks, straps and bolsters).

All levels are welcome.

Bowspring improves dynamic movement, opens the belly and neck while lengthening the spine, and overall challenges the body in unique and unexpected ways.
Who should take this class? Movement enthusiasts and open minded yogis seeking a powerful class that details specific alignment for mindful movement and increased longevity of the joints. Bowspring is especially helpful for those with back and wrist pain and are seeking a practice that minimizes joint compression.
