Sunrise Yoga (all levels)

Steven T.
Sunrise Yoga provides a vinyasa based practice that will reawaken your body and mind. Often tailored to the needs of the group, it may include breath-to-movement sequencing, traditional postures, mobility exploration, and/or myofascial release that will unwind tension and prime you for whatever the day brings.
12:00 – 1:00pm

Ashtanga

Michelle H.
Traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga starts with Sun Salutations A and B, and then adds one posture at a time creating a sequence that is meant to be repeated. Every movement and posture incorporates a rhythmic, controlled breath (Ujjayi), a gazing point (Dristhi) and internal lifts or locks (Bandhas). Incorporating these three components with the repeated sequence of postures leads one to a meditative practice. In our 60 minute Improvisation class, we will cultivate these aspects and experiment with a variety of postures.
