BOULDERING
BOULDERING
Bouldering is rope-free climbing on shorter walls that range from 14 to 16 feet high. All you need to boulder is a pair of climbing shoes and maybe some chalk.
Where climbing on the tall walls could be considered more of an endurance-based activity, bouldering–due to routes with fewer holds and moves–is a bit more like power or strength training.
Our walls are filled with “problems” of varying difficulty so there are plenty of challenges for all levels, from the absolute beginner to the veteran climber. If you’re new to bouldering, ask the front desk for a free bouldering orientation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own climbing equipment?
We definitely recommend picking up your own pair of climbing shoes, but we do offer rentals.
Climbing barefoot or using street shoes on the walls is prohibited.
Do I need previous climbing experience?
Nope! We’ve got climbing routes for everyone from absolute beginners to the most experienced climbing vets. We also offer beginner classes and instruction for those looking to get on the fast-track to stronger climbing.
What should I wear?
Choose athletic clothing that is comfortable and allows freedom of movement. However, we recommend clothing that is somewhat form-fitting; super baggy, loose clothing can get snagged on climbing holds.
Climbing shoes are required on the climbing walls; bring your own or rent a pair for the day.
